Astra embeds machine learning models into existing electronic health records at the point of care to flag early sepsis markers and recommend escalation protocols. Developed at Royal Melbourne Hospital in partnership with Monash University, the tool has been piloted in three Australian hospital systems with measurable reductions in time-to-treatment. Currently in clinical validation phase.
