Hydra Genomics builds portable sequencing workflows for hospitals and health departments to detect and track disease variants in real time. Spun out from UQ's Institute for Molecular Bioscience, the platform is already deployed in two Australian state health labs and is in procurement discussions with federal agencies. They focus on reducing time-to-result from days to hours.
