Quartz Energy develops SCADA-integrated software that forecasts renewable output 8-36 hours ahead and optimises battery dispatch to balance grid frequency and voltage. Trialled with Ausgrid across NSW, the platform has improved solar curtailment avoidance by 34%. The team includes former ANU solar modelling researchers and ex-Origin Energy engineers.
