Volta uses computer vision and transaction data to predict foot traffic and inventory needs at individual store and venue level, helping reduce waste and stockouts. The team built the initial product at a UTS startup lab and has deployed in eight shopping centers across Sydney and the Central Coast. Their algorithms have reduced food waste by 18% on average for early adopters.
